I have some good news. I've spoken to a Jamran Bigboots, of Bigboots Mining Co. I'm not actually sure that's the name but she IS the owner and she's got a deal on the table. I've got her interested in taking up the projects originally designed for the Stormbeards. She can provide the numbers, but lacks some of the specialists. With the right men telling hers what to do, the project would take more time than with the Stormbeards, however the cost would be a fraction of what the Stormbeards were asking for.

If you think this is a good idea, you'll need to move quickly as Commander Allers made it clear he's ready to sign just about anything to move forward against the Mistress. Luckily, the Bigboots Mining Co main area of operations seems to be in Lendose.
