Plans for Pwipe after beta?
Are there any plans to charecter wipe after beta ends?

levels are a big part of RP and im suprised more RPers dont realize it. for instance, a person can RP a guard all they want as a level 1, but they certainly wont get much accomplished. there are merchants characters know now and depend upon for getting much needed enchanted items. villains (which i havent seen much of lately) are hardly a threat at level 1.
there are other examples too, but ultimately the point is that the RP possibilites are much richer with a broad range of levels; much more, anyways, than a bunch of level 1s and 2s running around.
roleplay isnt just social, nor is power only found in words. the attributes of the characters play a huge part in forming RP situations.
can all this be achieved once again after a server wipe? sure. but why encourage it when theres already a developing community of characters?
one of the main arguments i see in support of a character wipe is that it will start everyone on an equal playing field. firstly, in what way does an equal playing field promote RP? this isnt the creation of the world, and therefore its nice to have some characters around that are more powerful. secondly, even if there is a character wipe, the people that play more will have higher level characters and the only purpose a wipe will have served is to set back the community which has already developed.
im not posting this because i have high level characters. in fact, my highest at the moment is 7. im posting this because i enjoy the level range of characters currently in dasaria, as well as the world thats forming around them, and i see no reason why it should be toppled with a character wipe.
