Troll Caves - Auto Res?
About an hour ago I was in a 6 person party as Jalaem Corska cleaning out the troll caves. We were having a tough time and one of our party members died. Then he was suddenly resurrected with 1 hp in the middle of the fight. We later had the same party member and others die only to resurrect with 1 hp near the end of the battle in which they died.
This seems very strange and I'm sure it's a bug.
Edit -- I just logged back in and arrived dead in the troll caves. Had 40 hp when I logged out.

I was in that party, and was automagically rezzed twice. I know two other players that experienced it.
it doesnt appear to have aything to do with the pools of firewater, unless it is linked to when the effect wears off?
It basically appears to be that, if you die you can just wait, and you will res with 1hp sooner or later.
we did have multiple members down at one point, and it appeared to res them one by one, not alltogether... but then again another member swears that two of us just got up at the same time.
something is odd in the troll caves....
Also, through that adventure and what followed, Am I noticing correctly that you cant target enemy's with spells as well as you used to be able to in NW1, what I mean is, are there effects enemies can have applied that make targetting impossible where it used to be possible in NWN1?

You can't target enemies with spells if they are invisible or you have been blinded. While this seems reasonable...even See Invisibility is not enough to counteract this.Tinuvhiell wrote:Trinn wrote: ...are there effects enemies can have applied that make targetting impossible where it used to be possible in NWN1?
Yes. I believe so. At least you aren't the first I have heard mention that difficulty.

When everything is coming your way, you're in the wrong lane.

..thats what I thought. And does seem reasonable.. apart from see invisibility not countering it :/k9burn wrote:You can't target enemies with spells if they are invisible or you have been blinded. This happened to me while I was waiting for a cleric in my party to come res me (she'd crashed). I was put to 1 hp before she got back, and we continued the troll quest. Then the next time I logged on and showed up in the tavern, I was dead. I guess it saves the fact that you died, even if you get put to 1 hp.
ahh good point, and one I had missed. After we had left the troll caves, there was a couple of people in the party transititioning / crashing / logging in dead. So, could be linked.. although there were reses's going off despite the auto-res, and I know normal resses can get you logged back in dead later.
