Toolset questions - weapons and armour

I am teaching myself the toolkit, with the view to hopefully assist Das2 in the future with simple community submitted content. At this stage I'm just trying to understand items.

I have 3 questions:

1. I made some cloth armour using the Male Avatar, but it looks totally different on a female character. On the Male it is a robe, but on a Female it is a pair of tight slacks that Britney spears would blush to wear! Is there a way that I can see how the armour looks on the Female avatar in the Toolset Armor Set preview?

2. Is their a way that I can make a Scimitar do 1d8 (i.e. Longsword) damage? Or I just would like a curvy longsword

3. Is there a simple tutorial available? I'd be interested in something that would allow me to step through making a simple indoor area with placeables, sounds, a vendor and some dialog? I tried to use the Toolset help and it was...err not much help.

No to the first two questions. I've seen quite a few tutorials out there. Search the vault or do a google search.
