A small statured elf walks the path north past the Mistyvale inn with a rather plump badger waddling in tow. The elf stops and glances toward the east, causing the overweight animal to crash into the woman's feet with a scorning growl. The elf smiles mildly at it before she directs her eyes eastward once again, gazing wistfully at the beginning dawn in its orgy of powerful colors.
"AtCHOO!"
The majestic scene is interrupted by a violent sneeze which stirs the drowsy birds from their rest in the nearby trees. Instantly they start tweeting their merry songs of love and happiness. The pallid elf sniffles and walks up the path a bit further before straying to the right, to the patch of grass between the fountain and the apothecary. As the woman sits, she lets down an armload of flowers on her lap and in front of her, in the most fantastic colors imaginable.
"--'Choo--"
The small elf reaches out her hand and grazes the tips of her fingers over many of the flowers spread out before her. The badger, finally having realized its company had moved away from the previous spot, comes waddling towards the woman and plops down beside her, sighing contently that the trek is finally over. Its companion smiles and scratches the animal fondly -- if it could purr, it would.
"...a-a-atCHOO!"
A couple of flowers whirl away from the puff of air coming from the elf. The badger wisely moves a bit away. The elf sniffles deeply a few times, sighs, and takes out a handkerchief to blow her nose. When that bit of business is over with she picks some of the flowers and begins to twine them together expertly.
The garland is but half-finished when the elf drops it on her lap and begins to furiously rub her eyes. The badger waddles over and prods its snout into the woman's arm, prodding and prodding until finally --
"Oh, FINE!" and she grudgingly lowers her hands from her eyes to cease the vigorous rubbing, leaving her eyes even more red and irritated than they were.
The badger waddles off once again, satisfied, leaving the elf to complete her garland of flowers despite incessant sniffling. Her delicate and pale features become more and more set with stubbornness with every tickle and sniffle.
After long last the elf places a masterfully crafted, gorgeous natural circlet on her head, gently pressing it down behind her ears so it will stay in place. She smiles proudly.
"AaatchOO!"
