GUIDE???

I have been looking.. apparently there are NO GUIDES on how to craft items in Desaria?

Is this correct?

The place to start are in various shops that sell the craft you're aiming for. Check their inventory and read up on the tools they sell to see what you need to make a certain item.

Some crafts require you use a certain tool on a corresponding bench with the components inside, such as smithing, tailoring, etc. Other crafts only require you to cast spells on scrolls or potions. Normally, crafts requiring you to use a tool on a bench need skill points in that craft to be successful. The more difficult the item is, the more skill points you will need. The crafts that don't use a bench will normally require you to take a corresponding feat.

Finally, some crafts have no instructions and may require rare components or feats to accomplish. These are craft combinations you will simply have to figure out for yourself. Get started and have fun!

Would it not make sense to post all the crafting information on the forum? If not, why not?

A "How to" would be useful and add positively to your Desaria experience.

It wouldn't make sense, because then it would be shared ooc information. And metagaming isn't quite appreciated on Dasaria. Find your information IG, write it down and share it IC with others. Like everybody else does too.
