For those of you who are interested, you can direct connect to 24.215.80.62:5122, provided you have the necessary hakpaks (they are on the vault, last I checked). I promised Eve I would keep the server up for a few days, and I think I'll do just that!
Anyway, Eve and I popped on (to be joined later by Atharin) to take a look around. Eve and I decided to try the massive trek to Dasar, and I began taking screenshots on the first part of the Dasar River Valley road. All of these images have been scaled to fit this forum, but you can view full-sized versions by checking out the image source.

I made the run with my most recent copy of Raeflyn E'doras.

Made a quick stop in Dragonwatch for Eve and Atharin to catch up. Had some spare Redboot uniforms in my inventory and took a quick screenshot.

The silhouette of Dragonwatch, now known as Almaran's Folly. The Brute Squad were defending her admirably.

Running through Vokk territory with Drogin (Eve) and Hamfist (Atharin) in tow.

Swapped out my Queen's Guard gear, as we entered Koalisk territory (Das1 koalists were much much more dangerous than their Das2 cousins).

We lost Atharin at this point, because he couldn't handle the long trip (pansy!) This was the last leg, with the total trip coming in at about 30-35 minutes.

Entering Dasar -- this is the plaque erected on the victorious reclamation of New Dasar from the clutches of the undead; at the time the memorial was created, half of Dasar was still in the hands of the Nergalites. This shot, however, was taken after the Reunification, on the restoration of Nelina I.

Some random conversation among some Dasarian NPCs.

Popped into the Tower of the Sword, the refurbished headquarters for the Order of the Kingseekers. The above was their meeting chambers. The upstairs, more personalized floor, was inaccessible (I didn't have the key!)

Entering the Royal Palace, to be greeted by Miss Annister.

This is the hall where Queen Nelina would entertain her guests.

At this juncture Eve had to leave, so I decided to make the perilous journey north, to the Plains of Arrith, home to the Tah'nai peoples. This is the bridge spanning the River Iraos.

At the Telkhmar settlement of Arrith, home to Lord Janloar, the Lord of the Eastern Plains and the warden of the Telkhmar peoples.

Two Dasarian soldiers stationed within the Great Hall.
All in all, a fun adventure. I might pop on sometime later this week and carve a path north to Ravenswatch. A refreshing bit of nostalgia, that's for certain.
