Crafting Revival.
I'm not entirely sure what is what as far as recipes goes but its something I would like to dabble in more. Its hard to know who knows what and if those who know uncommon and rare recipes are around, at least for me. I don't have as much time as I have had in the past to do some of the things within Dasaria as I would like.
Is it a fair assessment that most of the Master Crafters are not here any longer? I would like to see more going personally. I dunno.

Re: Crafting Revival.
There are still several highly experienced crafters around, I know at least two of the three of them are Masters.
Sir Hyel Loremaster- Knight of Argentum Vigilo, Archmage of Ordo Magica , Slayer of Zumen the Winged Death, & Head Librarian of the Great Library of Cear- Captain Firin- Korangar "The Wall" - Lucian Rhaz - & Glanin Redleafe.

Re: Crafting Revival.
I as well have been dabbling and figured out recipes with my enchanter, Teiresias Sha'Etemmu. Many of the wondrous items are still beyond my/his knowledge, but there doesn't seem to be an in character venue for apprenticeships, sharing, and learning. Teiresias has "joined" the Order of the Diamond, but it is currently either inactive or completely OOC.
I'd be very interested in rekindling an in character guild or meeting with other RP crafters. In my opinion, some of the more obscure recipes should be learned either by trading with other crafters/enchanters, or by player quests through apprenticeship. For example, the master crafter could require the apprentice to first collect several rare ingredients.
Well, just a few thoughts...

Re: Crafting Revival.
I ran a serious crafting guild society in EQ2, and crafting is the thing I am most interested in. I RP the heck out of it.
I mean, I was a level 80 crafter and a level 25 adventurer. Crafting and the RP that ensued from it is what shaped and defined my character in Everquest.
After I finish the campaigns I plan on forming a crafting society/faction. I really enjoy the RP aspect of crafting, and the socio-economic impact it has in the world. The top reason I came to Das was because of the crafting system they implemented. It BRINGS out RP. This is why I am here.

Well this is comforting to know that the interest is still in demand.

If you want to craft all those nice think so need 3 char. Because need spells from wizard, druid and cleric to craft.

Re: Crafting Revival.
my crafter is pure wizard, and he is able to craft all the items/properties that require cleric and druid spells.
also, what makes someone a master crafter? I by no means know all the recipies. By the time i took crafting more serious, i was able to get to the higher level areas with the better drops, so i have found more glowing than faint or weak. in a way, it could be said that i started with the most difficult in terms of obtaining the components and worked my way down.

Re: Crafting Revival.
I was thinking about picking up crafting with two of my characters. Neither of which are spell casters so I guess they would be limited in what they can construct.

Re: Crafting Revival.
Yea, depending on what you want to do, with out craft magic arms and armor, or craft wonderous items, you wont be able to enchant.
