All of the other trap recipes are logical, but I cannot figure out the spike trap recipe. It doesn't seem to have any obvious logical recipe. I have tried daggers, kukris, arrows, bolts, combinations of those and nothing works.
Can a DM give any kind of hint or at least tell me if the recipe has any kind of logic to it?

As far as I know, although I haven't made one, all traps are logical. The spike one is very logical, and I think is written somewhere ingame.

There was only one thing I didn't try and when I tried it, it worked. It figures that it would be the last thing I tried. Thanks to a DM for telling me I was on the right track.
