A long battle Kaz and Knox, the brothers from Kaladin, have fought in the infested sewers, to which they tired and needed a drink at a local tavern. Putting weapons away, both stepped into the Buck Inn.
-"Wench, fetch me an ale, good one at that!" yelled Knox pointing at a short lass by his side.
After a drink or two Knox relaxed a bit, threw his shorty legs upon a table and let out a loud belch.
-"Do you have any other "finer" rapiers...?" a man whispered to another sitting at the table.
-"I might have a few in stock soon enough, what are you willing to pay for the better equipment?" a man in a hood replied.
-"I will be looking for you then LokTok.." first man exclaimed in a quiet tone of voice.
-"Hello lads, greetings to you all, I overheard yer conversation. It's not the stolen goods yer trading here, are ya?" Kaz stepped up to the table with two men.
Both men at the table stiffened their backs with a glance at Kaz.
-"No, good sire, we were just discussing a sale of good equipment..." a man in the hood replied quietly.
-"My name is Kaz, I volunteer for the Citizen Watch and here is my brother Knox. We have heard the rumors of the stolen goods being sold here, would you happen to know anything about it?"
Knox got out of his chair reaching for the handle of the sheathed dwarven axe on his back.
-"Greetings there, Eric is my name and it's an outrage that someone would sell the stolen goods under the nose of a Watch!"
-"Hmmm, look at the time... " LokTok got up from the table "...must be going, things to do people to see. Eric, I will let you know once I get the finer goods" as LokTok started walking towards the door.
-"LokTok! I keep an eye out for ya, lad. Thieves ....... are all over these parts these days..... " Kaz exclaimed.
-"I thank you for your service, sire" as LokTok disappeared into the doorway.
-"Careful Eric, LokTok was known to take an item or two from some fellas, but I have no proof to accuse him of anything. He is a sneaky kind, he is." Kaz turned towards Eric.
-"I thank you for the warning... " Eric answered "I got a room upstairs and getting quite tired now, I must depart to get some rest." Eric got up from the table and headed towards the living quaters of the inn.
Hmmm.....could this LokTok fella be involved in the stolen goods that is rumored around Cear, I better speak about this with the Watch Captain and keep a look out on that sneaky lad.
-"Knox! Put yer axe away already, we are within the city limits, yer new to this place, but ye shall know the ordinance, ye shall. Also, ye listen to yer mother too much, ye can't solve all the problems with an axe, ye can't. Let's go already, little brother, yer axe could be used somewhere else." as Kaz and Knox headed towards the exit.

Oh Big Brother, always so concerned with what is right and wrong, I was just thirsty, and as usual feeling a bit frisky after a good battle.
Sometimes I wish we could forget the piety and just relax with a good pint!!
Brother Kaz, I will always have your back no matter what...especially if it means I can swing my axe around a bit, always a fun thing after a few pints of Dasarian Dark Ale.
*wipes foam from beard with a grin*
