Tren, self appointed moral guardian of Cear, enforcer of littering ordinances, harasser of Drow... and reject of the Cear watch has recently revealed to all the resons for his inability to become a member of Cear's army. Sadly, Tren appears to be well below the normal standards of Cear's glorious army, as he has been unable to deal with a simple Drow trickster, who time and again shrouds Tren in darkness and runs off, laughing, ne'er to be apprehended.
Poor Tren. We should all buy him a lager at the inn, that he may drown his sorrows and try to forget his humiliating failures.
The plight of poor Tren.

A posted note to the aforementioned Drow trikster:
You should be singing Tren's praises. It was by his suggestion that I (and perhaps others) didn't strike you down, even after you feebly tried to attack me. Perhaps if Tren and his fellow guardsmen don't ask a bit more nicely next time, I'll find it too difficult to stay my hand. The laws of Cear might not be my top priority, but I'll not abide an unchecked predator. That being said, if your only real business is playing harmless tricks, and attacking me was an honest mistake, I'd be willing to overlook or perhaps even enjoy your shenanigans.
Warmest Regards,
Greensleeves
