I have to admit there are alot of things that are needed still, espcially in multiplayer. However, I have been really glad to see OE seeming to work really hard in making things happen, even in just the last patch alot of the things that should have been in were put in. There have been alot of games ...

There are a few that I have found to be good, just like anything else there is some good things and some really bad stuff, some of what you like is personal taste.

A short list though:

Rurouni Kenshin
Ah My Goddess
Great Teacher Onizuka
Trigun
Condor Hero

I myself was not very much into Anime ...

I think alot of what we are dealing with right now is growing pains (me being one of those). Das was and probally still is the only server in town, and the way I start looking for a server is to sort by number of players on. Perhaps in a few weeks or monthes when other servers get going things will ...

Like most things in gaming common sense is required. Many times metagaming is a very bad thing in general. However, there are some times that we do it to be more considerate, such as not taking a bunch of first level chars into the bugbear caves. Or even avoiding kill stealing for some characters is ...

Well this thread seems to have completely gotten disrailed and I expect to be locked soon. What I want to point out though is that this will be another case for a complete waste of time for those that could be doing much more constructive things then playing babysitter for this issue or that. Lets ...

One thing I forgot to mention in my orginal post, but if you are new to roleplaying, welcome and I commend your efforts and I think this community is more then willing to help out. Even though I have played DnD for years, when I first played NWN I was very rusty since I had not played at all while ...

Evil is almost always harder to play. Just try something evil in real life and you will see the problems almost instantly. Not to mention if you want muhahaha evil, it is best to have a DM helping use you along. Doing things likes this of course has their limitations, if you are known to be the evil ...

Currently I think yes. With Das being the only fuctional server up in either PW market it currently will bring almost anyone in. In the future though I would like to see it opened back up to the public, by then people will have found more places to go to and will probally fit their likes better ...

I don't really know the character, but the actions seem like a fast track on becoming and EoS, and I think that has been talked about more then enough in another thread.

If there was a level cap at 1 (dont scream at me, we would NEVER do this!), would that hamper the quality of characters developed through roleplay? I would say no.

I would say yes.

I think it takes away opportunities, not to mention certain class builds that require more than one level to ...

In general I would like all the examine difficulties off. There is one exception for this though, and it might not come in to play much later in the campaign. However, the only thing I do like about it is it can help me sometimes to decide when putting a party together who to approach and what not ...

Personally I don't think lvl cap or equip should be what determines a persons race, class or any other choice really.

One thing about rogues that tends to get overlooked often.

A rogue /= theif

There are alot of possabilities to this class that often get overlooked. I always find it refreshing to find a new spin put on the rogue idea.

Perhaps in the future a PP tool can be added to the game. Something that limits what can be taken, perhaps by weight, so that full plate is not just randomly taken. In addition, a set of responses can be allowed on both parts, such as what happens if they are caught, and how each side reacts. I ...
