This will be very hard to accomplish as it is, as most if not all of the quests right now have a leval cap of about 5.Grayle wrote:10th level characters generated from the campaign's very first map.
Unless PCs want to sit in the farmlands and kill boars for 1xp ea.

I'd like to see me have more time so I can play? *cries*
Thank the gods I have a four day weekend coming up.
As for things I DON'T want, I'd like all the senseless "I have to level up and be as high of a level as possible" to stop, and people to start RPing.

I don't think it's a matter of PCs wanting to kill boars, I think boars want to die faster, that's all. I end up killing about 4-5 running to the mines every time.Falcon wrote:

1) The ability to rest after practically every fight, severely hampering the utility of healers.
2) Characters starting with 0 gold and no weapon... not even a dagger or club.
3) Learning the all the time I put into my social skill character was pointless as social skills are worthless.
3-A) Realizing that Diplomacy is the only usefull social skill after ranking up in all 3 social skills.wa
3-B) Realizing that conversations are so limited that even diplomacy has no real value.
3-C) Finding that social skills are usefull, but a +5 gives you just as much benefit/options as a +30
P.S. Wonderfull server so far. Thanks for making it.

on the skills note..
Be nice if appraise worked on more then just items in shops....
also.. some more neutral replies in dialog? instead of extremely good or extremely evil (well to be fair most of the evil replies make the char sound more like a jerk then like an evil char)
Still looking forward to things to come

Unfortunately I have a feeling this will happen, Connor is 6th at the minute and there are a few "Very difficult" people about which means their 8th-9th if I’m not mistaken.Grayle wrote:10th level characters generated from the campaign's very first map.
There will always be people who rush to get to 20th first even if in means farming mobs for a few xp a go, Sad but true.

Lootable corpses is the one thing that I dislike most on any server. Its just way too time consuming to walk all the way back to your corpse, pick up tons of items, and re-organize and re-equip them on your quickslots. Not to mention the fact that most of the time they'd already be stolen should a wanton thief happen to strole by. All those months of work getting that magical longsword will be wasted and have gone down the drain.

I don't want to see easy access to powerful items. Nor do I want to see a certain set of "the best" items so that at any given time most people are walking around looking the same. IE all fighters with the same armor/sword/shield/helm, wizards with the same staff and robes, etc.
I would like to see items that have negatives as well as positives.
Of course, these are more long term issues, but I just thought I'd throw them out there.
