Re: Tips if Any to lessen crashes?!

Hello again, Ive just started playing and Im wondering if there is any advice known to make Das crashes less often. I get them about every 5-10 minutes of playing. I have a very top of the line pc, and run the OC fine with all settings up. Im wondering if I have to turn off any settings to get Das ...

In reguards to spot as a defense I had a question as I am not sure how the mechanics in NWN 2 works in reguards to slight of hand. Does spotting someone trying to pick your pocket actually stop the attempt or do they still get the item but it just gives you a message that you saw them do it? If its ...

Re: Newbie monk experience....

The wolves are meant to be a challenge to lvl 1 characters.

Try talking to every NPC you encounter. A non-ECL race character can get from level 1 to level 2 in a matter of minutes by simply doing all of the basic, non-combat quests.

If you can spare it, spend a half-hour or so exploring the ...

What exactly is the death penalty on Dasaria, with refernce to PvM and PvP?

Cheers
The death penalty for PvP or PvE is the same. 50 xp per character level and a scaled amount of gold (based on how much you're carrying) up to 10,000.

Blessed are the Wand-makers

Looking for a wizard type to craft some wands for me. I can provide materials and pay for your trouble.

Re: Can bottle racial abilities.

You can bottle/wand via crafting any targetable racial ability. Such as darkness, enlarge, invisibility, possibly frenzied berzker rage.

Obsidion bug obviously.

May not be worth fixing, just reporting it.

Luckily, this will not work with self-target abilities. You'd need to be able to cast it ...

Oil Pools in the Troll Caves *minor spoilers*

Whenever anyone in a party approaches the oil pools in the troll caves (triggering the flame weapon dialogue), it causes the following problems:

It can interrupt spell casting for other party members.
It will interrupt resting for all party members.
It will draw all pary members out of wildshape ...

just like how a large potion of the people are useing the guards at the city gate to do their bear and boar killing, and exploits openly as if its suposed to be that way. i would say fully such heavy restrictions are in need of place to ensure the overall experience is fair for everyone.

I would ...

Oh yeah? My group destroyed the ninja spawnage, kept the ghost alive, talked to her, then destroyed that spawn. So there!

Actually, these things do seem to happen... Parties come, and parties go. Parties ninja, and parties die. Leaving a big ol' mess behind. I wouldn't call it a bug though.

I've ...

This sounds like someone is going invisible (wizard/sorc/warlock/bard/cleric can do this to an extent, so can't point any specific fingers), and running through to loot all the chests (spawning all of the enemies in the process). To get the keys, they're probably using a powerful single-target spell ...

Re: WTB: Manuals concerning Armorsmithing.

Grayle wrote:PM me OOC or find me in-game IC.
I've mentioned this in a few other threads I think, but the manuals appearing in game do not provide valid recipes. They are merely the default books from the NWN2 OC that snuck their way in through the use of default loot tables.

Personally I am with the Horseman on this.

I was against locking the areas like this but I lost the crucial vote.

I find it extremely annoying. It seems like probably every single play session this comes up, and I curse it anew each time.

I'll keep fighting the good fight for you, Hourseman ...

Since we've determined this is all in good fun, a few points for the sake of veracity.

Actually, there is not a single jot or tiddle about "retiring PCs if they hit 20" anywhere in DnD.
This is mentioned, verbatim practically, in several versions of the DM Guide.

In fact, there is extensive ...

You'd be so surprised. What you are seeing here is the time honored Dasarian tradition of beating a dead horse...relentlessly.

Funny story for the sake of shameless thread derailment:

I had an english teacher in highschool, years ago. The woman owned a horse and never failed to find some excuse ...
